Greetings from Bali
Leave a CommentThis is where i stayed when I was in Bali…for less than 24 hours. Flew in on a tuesday night and then flew out on wednesday evening (for a conference). Shit man, somehow I wished i extended my stay cos the weather was so divine and the beach and the pool and my luxurious room. Damn! but only if my love was with me, otherwise no point enjoying all of this on my own right?
Anyway, check out the jacuzzi-style bathtub and the fabulous pool. The pool/lagoon goes around the perimeter of the resort and there is also a sandy side to simulate a beach. Shit man.
PS Cafe Part 2
Leave a CommentI wrote about PS Cafe in a previous entry and mentioned the dessert was nice. This time round, its the brunch we tried and i think its even better than the desserts. My love had the Bacon and Eggs and I had a…muffin. OK, Boring huh?? WELL, i was quite full so i really didnt want to spend $18 (before GST) to stuff my face with pancakes and apples, or fries in a basket. BUT HEY! the muffin was still nice, banana nut, smells and tastes pretty good. But i didnt really like the Hot Chocolate that i ordered. There was either too much milk or chocolate flakes which didnt taste nice. All the items on the Bacon & Eggs platter was nice too, especially the scrambled eggs. Yum.

Fyi, we had the card but we still had to wait coz there were so many people waiting to get in. I don’t believe this, its not a club and YET its so goddamn popular and some white chicks (who arrived later than us) just came along, talked to the supposed bouncer/queue supervisor and got in earlier than us. Great.
In case you think i didn’t enjoy myself at all. Not entirely true. I did to a certain extent, enjoyed the very nice crisp pizza on a thin crust and best of all, we didn’t have to wait that long. Surprise! And the live music aint half as bad. But the segment on “sabotaging” birthday girls and boys was cheesy. And because we are not mega fans of live music, we decided to entertain ourselves by taking pictures.

Woah. And I thought im a damn good drinker loh. Hahaha..Age has caught up and my liver is not strong anymore. I puked like 3-4 times and I couldn’t recall anything thereafter and I felt woozy and nauseous for at least 2 days in a row, after last Friday night. Shit man. damn weak. This is disgusting. I can’t believe im saying this but, well, i think ive got an aversion towards alcohol now, cannot take LIT already. Die!!
But i like apple shooters still. Oh and i got my velvet card renewed! Phew! Thought im not on the mailing list anyway, if i’m not, thats it man. my clubbing days will be officially over.

shopping alone
Women always deceive themselves when they say they are just walking around, just merely browsing. Its quite a dangerous activity really, as I find myself venturing into shops that you don’t usually enter, especially when the boyfriend’s around. Just the other night, tuesday night to be exact, i find myself wandering around paragon and after i bought my liquid foundation, I thought, hey, its the GSS eh, lets see what Gucci, Burberry, YSL, Prada have to offer. Well in case you think I bought something… I didn’t as a matter of fact (boring!), BUT i find myself poring and thinking quite a lot about the range of YSL bags AND shoes. I didnt ask how much the items were marked down, but the last i checked on a pair of strappy-gladiator shoes, it was $750. Ok, probably quite crazy to buy such expensive shoes and what, walk around orchard road and all, but hey, i should just top up another 300 bucks and all, and get a bag huh? Shit. I saw a light blue-grey majorelle bag. I LIKE! i only found the gold and white ivory on the website. And its roomy too! The besace is also nice, but more expensive.
I think i will go back to YSL over the weekend and do a little more investigation. I was so scared I will make an impulse purchase on Tuesday, so I had to force myself to walk out the store. And the shoess!!! I hope there is at least a 30% discount man. Oh and i also need to bring my miumiu bag for cleaning at Far East Plaza. Lotsa stuff to do!!!
And please go see the shoes (i think there’s more at paragon??), the flats and pumps soo delectable! Deeelish!

The Happening
Its kinda spooky when nature f**ks with humans. That’s really what this entire show is about. When the wind blows and the bushes move, everyone runs for their lives. Don’t travel in big groups!! That will f**k you up!! Anyways, maybe I should have watched The Hulk. The Happening is just kinda weird.
Oh but Kungfu Panda was good fun!
Shucks man it already coming to the end of June. Time is moving really rapidly!!

1. Adele
Again, i can’t say I know alot about this artiste. Seems like she popped out from nowhere and I initially thought she’s black cos she also sounds quite a lot like Erykah Badu. She is a white girl and she hails from UK. Not the prettiest gal around, but I think her voice rocks. Anyway, I really like 2 of her songs. Chasing Pavements and Melt My heart to Stone.
