taxi uncle

i took a taxi ride back home the other day and the uncle thanked me profusely cos he didnt know the way from sengkang to amk and i had to give him directions. i didnt mind really, cos well its partly my responsibility to ensure that he goes the way i want him to avoid paying more than necessary. usually the taxi ride comes to around 8-8.60 but this time around the fare came up to only 7.80 which i was quite pleased obviously. i gave him 9.00 and the uncle returned me 1.40. so i was like hmm, thats kinda wrong le. So the uncle suddenly panicked and asked, eh sorry ah then how much should i give you, and i said erm, 2.20? and he was like oh yea, sorry sorry, here it is, 2.20.

after i got out then i realised my math seriously cannot make it. but i “earned” a dollar by mistake. hmmm
